About the Musicians
This performance includes members of the Island’s Palmer family carrying on Ed Palmer’s tradition of island and Irish tunes. Included in this performance will be Cindy Gillespie- Cushman, Ruby John, Hilary Palmer, Ryley Maudrie, & Danny Gillespie.
Celebrate the Holidays at the BIC Center
Home for the Holidays – An Island Community Christmas is just one of the holiday events at the BIC Center. Join us December 17th at 6:00 p.m. as we collaborate with the Beaver Island Performing Arts Alliance to bring you a Candlelit Christmas. The BIC Center will burst forth in carols sung by the Cumming’s Quartet along with holiday readings all on a candlelit stage. Then, on December 18th at 7:00 PM, the Tunes Music Makers will be hosting their recital and showcasing the hard work all of their students have done over the past year of lessons.
While there is no charge for admission to any of our holiday events, you should reserve seats for all events at tickets.biccenter.org.
Event Details
Ticketing. You will receive an email confirming your transaction shortly after you make your purchase. We will then process the transaction after which you will receive an additional two emails one of which will include your tickets to the event. Please allow one business day to process your transaction. (Purchases on the day of the performance will be processed as soon as possible or at the event.) If you purchase your tickets with a check, we may not process the transaction until we confirm payment. Admission to the Event. For admission to the event, please either (a) save the email with the tickets and bring it with you on a mobile device or (b) print out the ticket document attached to the email and bring it with you.
Safety Requirements. All events at the BIC Center will comply with health and safety requirements mandated by state and local authorities in effect at the time of the event. Click here for current details. If necessary events may be moved to an outside location, postponed or canceled. Please understand that our first concern is the safety of our guests, performers and staff.
Special Accommodations. The BIC Center Theater is equipped with a T-Coil assistive hearing system. If you use hearing aids that are T-Coil capable, check with your audiologist about activating the that technology to provide hearing assistance in the BIC Center Theater. If not, BIC Center provided headsets may be used with the system. Just ask at the front desk. If you need other accommodations to attend the event, please check with the BIC Center front desk at least 48 hours in advance so that we are able to determine if we will be able to meet your needs. The BIC Center Theater is wheel chair accessible.
