About the Painting
The prize is the painting. It is a oil on canvas depicting one of the iconic bays of Beaver Island that is named for Co. Donegal in Ireland, the ancestral home of many early immigrants to the Island.
About the Artist
Lois Stipp is a 5th-generation Beaver Island resident and a lifelong supporter of the arts. She owns the Beaver Island Studio & Gallery, showcasing incredible local talent in painting, pottery, photography, quilting, and more. With decades of nonprofit leadership in the arts—both on and off the island—Lois is a pillar of our creative community.

Your ticket will be mailed to the address you enter when checking out. All net proceeds from this raffle will go to support family and children’s activities at the BIC Center. There is no limit on the number of tickets to be sold. Drawing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on October 11, 2025, at the Beaver Island Community Center Beaver Island. You need not be present to win. If you are the winner and not present, we will notify you by phone or email using the information you enter when you check out. Prize must be collected in person on or before Memorial Day 2026. Employees of the BIC Center and the board and officers of Beaver Island Community Center are not eligible to win. Tickets are available for sale only to persons located in Michigan with delivery to a Michigan address (or pickup at the BIC Center).
