About Zachariah Malachi
While most country music artists and bands you hear of may stay in a predictable country radio or outlaw-oriented lane, Detroit-turned Nashvillian Zachariah Malachi has been known to be a shape-shifter of originality to the genre of honky tonk music. He can glide through the minor chords of Eastern European jazz and morph it into the depths of the barroom basement regret dealing with topics of cheating, drinking, fighting, and the morning after.
“Full of original classic country songs that sound like they’re recorded 60 years too late (in the best of ways), it is a breath of fresh air compared to many of today’s modern country monstrosities, and a worthy introduction to an artist we hope to hear much more from in years to come.” – Saving Country Music
About The Counts
Zachariah’s backing band, The Nashville Counts is the collected talents of fiddler and harmony singer Jack Bird; guitarist and banjo player Anthony Castagna; steel guitar and trumpet player Eddie Slide, and bass extraordinaire Luca Chiappara. The band name alone gives a hint to a sinister presence that awaits any stage that they are about to take. Together, this group of juke-joint vampires will take you on a ride through country music madness that you will feel compelled to tell your friends about what you just experienced.
About Harvest on the Harbor
Harvest on the Harbor is the Island’s fall festival. Planned for the peak of color while Lake Michigan still blesses the Emerald Isle with its summer warmth, it includes music, specials at local eateries, shopping deals, children’s events, hayrides, special fall openings of the islands museums and more. Color may be done up north on the mainland, but you can enjoy natures paintbrush another time with the special backdrop only possible on the most remote inhabited island in the Great Lakes.
