Carol Jansson is a Michigan born artist who divides her time between Chicago’s North Shore and Beaver Island. “Twilight” is an abstracted work inspired by the forests on beaver island and done in the manner of the Austrian painter Gustavo Klimt’s landscape paintings.

Before her career as a clinical psychologist, Carol studied art at Western Michigan University. Currently she studies in the studio of Alain Gavin. Her works are part of several private and institutional collections in the Midwest.
