An Island Community Christmas

Saturday, December 7th | 5:30pm | Community Holiday Tree and BIC Center Theater

Join us to get holiday celebrations underway with a lighting of the community tree followed by a holiday concert featuring the Island’s own Stay Happy Band. Gather round the tree at 5:30 to throw the switch (follow us on Facebook to learn how you can be the kid to turn the tree on) and sing some carols. Then, head down the street to the BIC Center for the concert.  There’ll be a Hot Cocoa Bar, all sorts of holiday treats and sweets and cabaret seating so you can gather with friends for the music to come. The show will include holiday favorites, holiday readings and stories from islanders presented by Robert Cole and a very special visitor from the North Pole.

Free Admission. Reserved Seat Event. Seating selection made at checkout. Theater will open at 6:00. Music begins at 6:30.

A note on seating arrangements for this event. Seating for this event will be family cabaret style with table seats to enjoy any beverages, snacks or meals you might choose to bring to enjoy before or during the show. There will be three rows of five tables each with seven seats at each table. We will also have two rows of chairs on the side of the auditorium available as overflow seating. Depending on your display, the seating selection chart may not show the proper layout of the tables. Tables 1 to 5 will be in the front row. Table 6 to 10 will be in the second row, and tables 11 to 15 will be in the third. The approximate layout of the tables is shown here:
