Our 2023 Raffle prize is a pair of  RADROVER 6 PLUS electric bikes from RAD POWER BIKES™ that are a good pick for use on the Island.  Our island e-bike experts hand-picked these for this year’s prize because they are well made and well suited for the island. Tickets are $50 each or three for $100. Only 1500 tickets will be sold. Drawing will be held at 8:00 p.m. on November 26, 2021, at the Shamrock Bar & Restaurant on Beaver Island. Rules are available here. One of the bikes is a step-through model and the other high step. RAD POWER BIKES assembles its e-bikes in the US and is one of the most popular brands out there.  You’ve probably already seen some of their bikes on the Island because Burton Bike Rentals uses RAD POWER BIKES exclusively (though a different model). Our experienced Island e-bike riders chose the RAD ROVER model for its fat tires (perfect for island roads in any season, its 45+ mile range (enough for a lap around the island with power to spare, its top-notch components, and a long list of top reviews. The bikes will come with helmets and water bottles.

All net proceeds from this raffle will go to support operation of the Beaver Island Community Center and WVBI.  Only 1500 tickets will be sold. Drawing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on November 25, 2023, at the Shamrock Bar & Restaurant on Beaver Island.  The list price of the prize is about $21,000 (including freight and prep). Winner must be at least 18 years old on the drawing date. Winner is responsible for registration (if any), insurance and taxes, and must sign a liability release prior to delivery.  Delivery will take place either at the BIC Center or in Charlevoix at the BIBCO ferry dock, as chosen by winner.  Employees of the BIC Center and the board and officers of The Preservation Association of Beaver Island are not eligible to win.  Tickets are available for sale only to persons located in Michigan with delivery to a Michigan address (or pickup at the BIC Center). Note: Some pictures of the bikes are from different model years and show accessories not included with the prize bikes. The prize bikes are graphite (black) colored RADROVER 6 PLUS bikes. One is a high step model. The other is a step-through model.
